In this world of instant gratification, it is nice to know that your gratification can extend to your computer desktop and servers. Gone are the days when a technician or trainer would have to be dispatched to come to your location to fix a simple problem or show you how to accomplish something on your computer.
While there are many ways to achieve this goal, we feel that we have the best solution. Some of our competitors will have you make changes to your router or firewall so that they can get in, others will use a "clunky" combination of open-source software to achieve the solution. After evaluating the options, we chose to use secure, commercial software from a name you know and trust -- Intel's Instant Support Suite. Yes, it is more expensive, but it works better, is thoroughly tested, and is secure. It doesn't require you to make changes to your routers, and when used for "instant support" it even automatically removes itself from your computer once we disconnect.
We use a variant of this software for servers which require unattended remote access.
